The main responsibility every one of us has in this
life is to elevate our consciousness

Each one of us are treasure houses, and has down deep in the labyrinths of our souls, knowledge, truth, goodness, and wisdom we do not realize is there. But it is according to our will that it rises to the top, or stays buried

What we know so absolutely that we turn it into an eternal verity, may with further enlightenment be only a surface or incomplete knowing based on faulty assumptions

When we judge ourselves, or another, often we take into account the worst moments and ignore the best

We are not just our name, or our occupation, or our role – that is an identity, but it is not a person

We are entities of dormancy waiting to be a revelation

We can see the events which surround us, we can remember the past which reveals what we were, but we cannot see the process which invisibly marks what we are becoming

What one was, or appears to have been in a given moment, is
not what one is now, or is in the process of becoming, for as one
astutely observed, we are not only human beings; we are human
becomings

I love your comment about judging - taking the "worst" into account and ignoring the "best." Judging is always risky business it seems to me. Sometimes we have to do it, but I'm sure we do it, especially judging people, more than we should.
