Dancing, music, and laughter are fine in their place, and should be encouraged in a healthy setting, but when they are exaggerated, as they often are, and become deliberate attempts to artificially arouse ecstasy or fun, they are not only inappropriate but, since they have a profound effect on who we are, prevent us from becoming our best

We cannot reach the supernal in our concept of evil and
suffering by merely understanding or explaining it, but by transcending and transforming it. And we cannot transcend it or transform it until we have transcended and transformed ourselves

It has been wisely said, “Beauty is in the eye of the
beholder.” But a higher wisdom declares
that the beholder is in the eye of
beauty

Beauty awakens. And it introduces one not only to the
miracle of his outer seeing, but the majesty of his inner
being

Beauty is a witness to our ascendancy where the whole
of life is vivified

When we behold beauty, we have been recipients of a
special revelation of our symbiotic relationship with
everything

There are divine appropriations available to everyone.
But to obtain them we must become ardent lovers of
beauty and goodness. Life affords opportunities galore
to experience our most sublime sensitivities

When you inspect that flower, or watch that hovering
cloud, or cup that contoured face, remember they possess a most remarkable and mysterious ability to sensitize you, a reward for your attention. And suddenly, without any expectation at
all, you are splendorized

Do you not hear that voice which whispers, oh so very quietly, yet profoundly, “You are the child of my ultimate concern. You are so greatly loved and cherished. Be patient with yourself as I am patient with you.”

That nature which has built man is not so disrespectful or
aggrandizing that she overwhelms him with what he cannot
do, but invites him to be creative and to make his own miracles
out of the raw materials she has so lavishly provided him
