Grace informs us that there is an exception to the tragedies of our
lives, and though it doesn’t completely assuage it, it teaches us to
endure to the end with hope

How long, Oh Lord, must we endure this pain? Until it ends!

The rules which an impertinent and unholy society impinge on
us cannot always hold us, for we are held by a more loving power

Man is an instrument upon which the finest music
can be played, but we have to do the fine-tuning

The illimitable message to those whose aim is toward
the light is that supreme life can be experienced only
by those of supreme being

Self- absorption can so often be misidentified as
self-realization

Selfishness is not only contempt for relationships
but contempt for one’s self

Humility is required in direct proportion to enlightenment given, and if we prefer to bask in the shadows of pride, arrogance raises its ugly head and works to mess up our lives

Let us perpetuate glad tidings to those wanting direction so
they too can climb

There are times when we must withdraw from the tumult of the crowd where our aloneness is tested by the silence. Not until we are alone, shorn of the garments of our civilized pretenses, are we exposed to the all-seeing eye of our inner being

Living the abundant life, not just survival, is our aim.

We need to clean out all that alluvial debris we collected in
our youth so that we can now make room where the divine
powers can incarnate themselves

This new kind of love that we at last come to know is not
just a superficial emotion, or a fleeting mood, but a deep
concern which cares about the ultimate outcome of things

Love’s capacitance lies in this: It never empties whilst it
is ever pouring out its energy. It is always full because it
always gives. It is always edified because it always edifies

Our task, if we are to emerge from the profane to the profound,
is to subdue more and more of those elements which are permissive of the shallow life and submit to the call and dominion of those higher forces which produce the regnant life
