No one promised it would be easy. But it is possible! So what are you going to settle for: The easy or the possible?

If you decide to settle for the possible be prepared to encounter difficulty. The difficult, however, is not an obstruction, but a challenge to your seriousness. You have to have vision to settle for the possible. You have to have nothing to settle for the easy.

Some miseries are natural and just a part of life. The best way to perpetuate them is to try to escape them. Instead, why don’t you change yourself?

From out of the wisdom of the ages comes this charge: Please do not oppress members of your family.

It is a sad discovery indeed that there are dispirited men and women on this planet hiding behind the façade of niceties. Therefore, be very discerning in your selection of those with whom you establish an intimacy with.

Can you honestly say that you have not hurt someone and caused them to weep? If you have, for your own sake, and for theirs, quickly repent.

Have you diminished the cornucopia of life, or have you added to it?

The best way to inoculate yourself from the evils of this world is to place your allegiance to God and not to any man.

It is a good thing to welcome pleasure, wealth, the honors of the world, but don’t be a slave to them.

How to endure oblivion in a world which vouchsafes applause and attention means one is lord of his own happiness.

I'm very serious - and stubborn. I always go for the possible rather than the easy when I feel something, or someone, is worth the effort.
