Do you see only the shadows and not the light? Then
come out of the shadows! Do dark clouds still
obscure the sun? Then stand and wait until the
clouds dissipate, as surely they will, and the sun
shines again.

To insist that life be fair is to make it more unfair!

Do you act from desperation or deliberation?

There is nothing that kills love and destroys relationships
more than selfishness.

It is not one’s point of view which approximates the truth, but
the condition of one’s heart and soul.

It is not the difficulty of smoothing out a rough road that counts so much as arriving finally at our destination?

There are times when one needs to look beyond what is evident in order to see what is potential. Or possible!

One gets stuck in shortsightedness when genuine love wants to teach us
Farsightedness.

When Helen Keller was asked during an interview if blindness was the
worst thing that could happen to you she replied, “No! The worst thing that could happen to a person is to be able to see but have no vision.”

Apparently there are some people who can “see” in the dark but are blind in the light.

Where there is no love there is no vision. And where there is no vision there is no love.

Hi, Pontificator. It's good to have you back. Today you have lots of thoughts about vision and seeing - not just with our eyes. And it definitely helps to have farsighted vision and not just shortsighted which can sometimes be very distorted.
I love you
